I just wanted to remind everyone that our NET is tomorrow, Thursday April 23, 2009 at 8:00pm on the 145.230 repeater. If this repeater is down for some reason, our back up repeater is the 145.370 repeater. Our NCS for tomorrow is Thom (KJ4KP). Please come and check-in with us. I would also like to thank everyone who checked in with us last week. We had a total of 8 check-ins last week. Thanks again Kermit for being Net Control. You did a wonderful job.

Changes in EmComm Courses
ARRL announces changes in the EmComm training series. The skinny of the information is as follows:
EmComm Level 1 will still be valid and will serve as EmComm Basic Emergency Communications Course.
EmComm Level 2 and 3 will be combined into a new EmComm Advanced Emergency Communications Course.
